We process and analyze geospatial data into professionally crafted visuals!
With 22 years of hands-on GIS experience, Jakub Sisak is totally focused on delivering reliable, "geo-graphics" solutions for mining and other industries.
When not operating his business, Jakub Sisak is the Senior GIS Analyst with New Gold Inc., the Rainy River Project. He began his career as a computer programmer/ systems analyst with CCS Central Computer Services an affiliate of the Buchanan Group in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
During his time with CCS, Jakub quickly transitioned from developing and supporting business applications to customizing and building ArcGIS tools and stand-alone applications for forestry.
In September 2007, after 7 years with CCS, Jakub was hired by DST Consulting Engineers as a GIS specialist and was the inaugural GIS professional to be hired by the firm. While with DST, Jakub provided GIS support and consulting services primarily working with the Environmental group.
Jakub accepted a position with Rainy River Resources, a junior mining/exploration company, in November 2010 within the Environmental, Public Relations and the Geology/Exploration teams in their efforts to work towards the federal and provincial Environmental Assessment and approval of the Rainy River Gold Project near Fort Frances, Ontario. This work culminated with Rainy River Project becoming the first “greenfield” mining project to receive both federal and provincial Environmental Assessment approval in Ontario in over 25 years. Now with New Gold Inc., who acquired Rainy River Resources in 2013, Jakub and his team continue to advance GIS within the company.
